Mixed Berry Crumble
Your favorite summer berries with the most delicious topping makes this mixed berry crumble a tasty summer dessert.
I’m a big fan of crisps, crumbles and cobblers. This Pear Crisp  and this Gluten-Free Peach Cobbler are some of my favorites. These are the easy recipes you make when you don’t want to spend a lot of time on a dessert. They are perfect for entertaining or for just having a great dessert at home.

Ingredients
Mixed Berries – Use your favorite fresh berries: strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, blackberries
Brown Sugar – Light brown sugarÂ
Lemon – A fresh lemon for the best flavor
Vanilla Extract – Use pure vanilla extract
Flour – Regular or gluten-free flour
Salted Butter – If you don’t have salted butter you can substitute in unsalted and add a pinch of salt.
Cinnamon – To add some flavor
Instructions
- Pre-heat the oven to 350°F.
- Lightly grease a 11 x 7 inch pan and set it aside.
- In a large bowl combine the fruit, 2 tbsp of the brown sugar, 1 tsp of lemon juice, 1/2 t of vanilla extract. Stir then pour into the greased baking dish.
- In a medium size bowl combine the flour, 1 cup of brown sugar, and the cinnamon. Add the butter and mix with a fork or your fingers until it’s well blended and crumbly.
- Top the berries with the crumble and bake for 30 minutes or it’s nice and bubbly and the top is lightly browned.
- Let it cool at least 10 minutes before serving.
Recipe Tips
- If you don’t have salted butter just add a pinch of salt to the flour mixture.
Storage
Store covered in the refrigerator for up to three days.

Materials
- 4 cup Mixed Berries, ie. strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, etc. cut the strawberries in half
- 2 tbsp Light brown sugar
- 1 tsp Lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp Vanilla extract
For the Crumble Topping
- 1 1/2 cup Flour/Gluten-Free flour
- 1 cup Light Brown Sugar
- 6 tbsp Salted Butter
- 1/2 tsp Cinnamon
